Rumble In the Kingdom Pitch Competition

Welcome to the 2025 NEK Pitch Competition, Rumble in The Kingdom! This year’s competition is presented by the Northeastern Vermont Development Association and Vermont State University’s, Do North Coworking with the generous support of our local sponsors!
The Rumble is free and open to the public. Join us to support the region’s most promising entrepreneurs. You’ll hear pitches from 12 businesses, and have opportunities to share the excitement of entrepreneurship in the Northeast Kingdom. Plus everyone who is there can cast your vote for the Audience Choice award!
Light appetizers provided and there will be a cash bar available.
Doors open at 5:30pm and the Rumble kicks off at 6pm. 12 businesses and ideas will each do a 5 minute pitch, showcasing their business and its potential for growth in Vermont and beyond.

And while money isn’t everything, in addition to the glory, everyone is competing for cash prizes:
- Best Pitch – $5,000
Awarded to the most compelling, clear, and persuasive pitch of the night. - Community Impact – $5,000
Goes to the business with the greatest potential to make a positive difference in the region. - Potential to Scale – $5,000
Recognizes a venture with strong potential for growth, replication, or expansion. - Audience Choice – $2,500
This prize goes to the crowd favorite.
